Introducing our new head caretaker and more

Mario Lévesque INTRODUCING MARIO : Mario Lévesque has been the head caretaker at the  EMSB Central Head Office on Fielding Avenue since July 2015 but he brings with him many years of experience since he first started his position with the Commission Scolaire Catholic de Montréal in 1980. Mario began his career in the army and was stationed in St. Jean where he trained as a mechanic for special vehicles. He went on to receive his driving training license at the largest training wing of the Royal Canadian Air Force in Borden, Ontario. He was later posted in the 5  Bataillion de Service in Valcartier as well as served as a mechanic in Mont Wright mines, which was then a major site for iron ore mining. In 1998 Quebec's previously divided religious school boards were represented by linguistic ones. KITTENS AVAILABLE : The Côte Saint-Luc Cats Committee wants to  find homes for some  more beautiful kittens: two girls and one boy. You can find all of the details here. We have quite an  excellent record of EMSB Central Head Office staff adopting kittens. HANDMADE HATS, BROOCHES AND  MORE: On Thursday, October 22 (11 a.m.to 1:30 p.m.)  Elizabeth Gregory Creations will set up shop in the Atrium at the EMSB Central Head Office. She will make available for sale her handmade crocheted retro style cloche hats featuring contrasting flowers and vintage buttons; and  original design flower brooches and cuff bracelets  (featuring magnetic closure) created from various shades  of repurposed leather. More adorable kittens for adoption; Laura Paolillo wins competition

These six kittens need good  homes. They are absolutely adorable. Trust us when we tell you that there can be no better pet than a cat. Please see this link for the full story and photos. These are two of the six kittens You might recognize Laura Paolillo. She is the interim executive secretary to Sandra Furfaro, Director of  Pedagogical and Information Technology Services. A graduate of John Caboto Elementary School and John F. Kennedy High School, read her inspiring story written by EMSB Communications and Marketing intern Zoe Bennett. Here is the link.

Benefit Concert at Marymount Adult Centre to support Cats Committee

Welcome to the EMSB Administration Building Bugle. This will be the new place for announcements to be made to the building. Whether it is a book or clothing sale, news of upcoming nuptials or special anniversary, please send us your news. We are anxious to hear from you. The Côte Saint-Luc Cats Committee (CSLCC) will hold a fundraising concert on Tuesday, August 25 (7:30 p.m.) at the former Wagar High School (5785 Parkhaven).  Featured performers will be the Musicians of the World Symphony Orchestra (http://www.musiciansoftheworld.ca), conducted by Joseph Milo and  Montreal-born singer, dancer and actress Nicole Raviv. She now lives in New York, where she has performed in a number of Off Broadway productions. These two kittens were rescued by the committee and adopted .
